The Happy Couple

On December 23 my daughter married a wonderful man I am proud to call my son. Since everyone was to come in for the wedding (including the bride and groom), I was the only one here to plan the entire wedding. Most of the time, my daughter, a 4th year medical student who matched in neurosurgery for her residency, wasn’t even available for me to bounce things off of. As a bookworm without the event planning skills my mother and sister possess, you can imagine my plight when I was the one who had to plan the entire wedding, especially when the books don’t work for the bookworm.

If you’re planning a wedding, want some cost saving tips, or just want a good laugh, you can follow my journey every Tuesday.  If you’re new to this series, I’ve linked them by title here for your convenience. Enjoy!
